Our Story
After "mama", our son's first word was "Takoda".
We looked it up and found it means friend to everyone. It felt like a promise, and it became the name of our brand.
TAKODA began after the COVID-19 years, at home, inspired by the crochet clothes my mum and sister have always made for the babies in our family. That warmth is what we want every TAKODA gift to carry: something soft, made with care, and made around one name.
What we make
- Personalised keepsakes: name frames, flower boxes and stands, arranged by hand in the UAE.
- Handmade crochet toys: soft cotton companions for a baby's first years.
- Eau My BB: gentle baby care from Spain in one signature scent.
Where we are going
Our dream is to grow TAKODA into a home for women who make beautiful things from home, giving mothers a fair income for their craft while they stay close to their own children.
